Imperial figure standing facing, wearing crown surmounted by cross, holding long cross in his right hand and globus cruciger in his left; above, crescent and six-pointed star; to right, blundered KAΛON ('good' in Greek); to left, 'bism allah' ('in the name of God' in Kufic). Rev. Large M between E/M/H - C/I/C; above, staurogram between two pellets; below, Δ; in exergue, tayyib ('good' in Kufic). Album 531ff. DOCAB 40. Goodwin&Gyselen p. 224, 22ff. Struck somewhat off center and with some doubling on the obverse, otherwise, very fine.
